Pacific Rose Apples

The Pacific Rose variety apple was suggested to us as an apple option on numerous occasions. Described as a “limited variety” apple, it is worth trying out this pink/red beauty!

Red Delicious Apples

An American all-star, the Red Delicious is a fond reminder of lunch pail boxes and after school snacks. Red Delicious apples are sweet and juicy, perfect for a fruit juice or a refreshing smoothie! Enjoy a Red Delicious today!

Bananas
A beautiful bunch a' ripe banana! Daylight come and me wan' go home....

As we all know, the banana is one of nature's best sources of potassium. Potassium is known to significantly lower the risk of high blood pressure and related diseases like heart attack and strokes.

New research is indicating that bananas are helpful in ulcer treatment. They seem to act as a natural antacid. First, they stimulate the stomach's production of protective mucus which helps to prevent harsh acids from touching the tender stomach lining, causing an ulcer. Second, the protease inhibitor found in bananas appears to kill the harmful bacteria that help to cause ulcers.

Navel Oranges
Also known as the Washington, Riverside or Bahia navel; the navel received its unique name from its close resemblance to the human navel at the base of the orange, opposite the stem. The flesh of a navel is sweet and naturally juicy. Try eating your navel as a refreshing snack or in your next lunch salad!

Pomegranates are a stock-house
of anti-oxidants, reducing harmful
conditions caused by oxidants.

According to many clinical surveys
and research conducted, eating a
regular dose of pomegranates can
prevent heart conditions.

Polyphenols from pomegranate juice
aid in extricating radical cells from the
body, enhances the immune system
and assist in keeping cell count constant.
